AIR FRYER SESAME CHICKEN BREAST

  • Ingredients:

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon honey

- 1 tablespoon sesame oil

- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

- 1 teaspoon minced garlic

- 1 teaspoon minced ginger

- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

  •  Instructions: 

1.Marinate the Chicken:

   - In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper. Place the chicken breasts in the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) in the refrigerator. 

2. Preheat the Air Fryer:

   - Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

3. Cook the Chicken:

   - Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them in the air fryer basket. Reserve the marinade for later.

   - Air fry the chicken breasts for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the outside is crispy and golden brown.

4. Prepare the Sauce:

   - While the chicken is cooking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

5. Finish and Serve:

   - Once the chicken is done, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken breasts into strips.

   - Drizzle the thickened sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

   - Serve the Air Fryer Sesame Chicken Breast hot with steamed rice or your favorite side dishes.
