Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie Trifle
Ingredients:
- 1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients required to prepare the brownies)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
- Chopped peanuts, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare Brownies:
- Prepare and bake the brownies according to the package instructions. Let them cool completely, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
Make Peanut Butter Fudge Layer:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and well combined. Let it cool slightly.
Prepare Vanilla Pudding:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Fold in half of the whipped topping until smooth.
Assemble the Trifle:
- In a trifle dish or a large glass bowl, layer half of the brownie cubes on the bottom.
- Spread half of the peanut butter fudge mixture over the brownies.
- Layer half of the pudding mixture over the fudge.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie cubes, peanut butter fudge, and pudding mixture.
Finish:
- Top with the remaining whipped topping.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.
- Garnish with chopped peanuts if desired.
Chill:
- Cover and refrigerate the trifle for at least 2-3 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
