Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie Trifle

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients required to prepare the brownies)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • Chopped peanuts, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare Brownies:

  • Prepare and bake the brownies according to the package instructions. Let them cool completely, then cut into bite-sized cubes.

Make Peanut Butter Fudge Layer:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and well combined. Let it cool slightly.

Prepare Vanilla Pudding:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Fold in half of the whipped topping until smooth.

Assemble the Trifle:

  • In a trifle dish or a large glass bowl, layer half of the brownie cubes on the bottom.
  • Spread half of the peanut butter fudge mixture over the brownies.
  • Layer half of the pudding mixture over the fudge.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie cubes, peanut butter fudge, and pudding mixture.

Finish:

  • Top with the remaining whipped topping.
  • Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.
  • Garnish with chopped peanuts if desired.

Chill:

  • Cover and refrigerate the trifle for at least 2-3 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
